What we're creating

Three new buildings, designed by award-winning architectural practice Assael Architecture, will form an impressive new gateway to the Thames Barrier Park, London's first largely post-modern designed park, which combines striking landscaping with adventurous planting.

This will be one of the leading developments in London designed specifically for rental occupiers. The three buildings, which range in height between five and 14 storeys, will provide 154 apartments for private rental and 82 affordable homes. Those living here will enjoy exceptional views over the River Thames, the park and the Royal Docks, as well as residents' amenities, external terraces and the convenience of having the DLR station moments from their front door.

Four new shops will be located at ground-floor level, bringing additional amenities for the local community and park visitors.

The park will remain open throughout construction and, while work is underway to create a new and fittingly impressive, step-free entrance, alternative access routes will be clearly signposted.

Linkcity is the developer of the project. It is working in partnership with the GLA and the London Pensions Fund Authority. The homes will be owned and managed by Grainger plc. Bouygues UK is the main contractor for the project.
